Event description:

If it’s taught us anything, the past year has shown PR practitioners that the manual we’ve been using won’t successfully carry us into the future. It’s time to explore new approaches to our profession, all while staying true to the guiding principles of our industry.

The future of public relations will require PR professionals to adapt, evolve and educate themselves on emerging strategies and technologies. We will need to ensure our communications are sensitive, ethical and inclusive, and to acknowledge and embrace the fact that lines continue to blur between the once-separate activities of PR, marketing and advertising (not to mention being adept at navigating unanticipated challenges as we have all been doing for the past year).

This year’s PR University will showcase industry-leading professionals in tourism, business development, media and more, all sharing their best practices, takeaways and case studies on how to successfully execute forward-thinking public relations.
