A panel of Southwest Florida journalists will address current media trends and share their insights on the future of journalism during a media communications presentation. The Southwest Florida Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association will host their annual media breakfast from 8-10 a.m. Thursday, June 12, at the Holiday Inn Airport/Town Center in Fort Myers. The event helps local businesses learn how to stay current and relevant in the growing field of public relations.
The presenters will be Osvaldo Padilla, Editor, Florida Weekly; Steve McQuilkin, Business and Real Estate Editor, The News-Press Media Group; Jimmy Dean, Editor, Harbor Style Magazine; Phil Borchmann, Editor, Gulfshore Business; Darrel Lieze-Adams, News Director of Waterman Broadcasting and Jean Gruss, Editor, Business Observer.
The Holiday Inn Airport/Town Center is located at 9931 Interstate Commerce Drive. Admission is $40 for FPRA members, $50 for nonmembers and $15 for members of the FPRA student chapter. No-Shows Will Be Billed.
