Merry Givemas

The Southwest Florida Chapter of FPRA is hosting the second annual toy drive to spread a little goodwill throughout SWFL. Merry Givemas provides an opportunity to donate new, unwrapped toys and small denomination gift cards. The donations will benefit the Children’s Advocacy Center of SWFL, a local nonprofit, in memory of our dearly departed Janet Wilson. Janet was a beloved member of FPRA SWFL and the SWFL community. She loved giving back, especially during the holiday season! Participate in the Merry Givemas toy drive to help us carry on Janet’s legacy and spread goodwill and lift the spirits of SWFL children and families this holiday season. 

Founded in 1981, the mission of the Children’s Advocacy Center of Southwest Florida (CAC) is to provide a coordinated response to child victims of abuse and neglect; and improve the lives of at-risk children and their families through prevention services. CAC assesses and treats children believed to have been physically or sexually abused or to be at-risk of such abuse, and provide a safe place for them to come and be heard. CAC offers abuse determination services as well as therapeutic counseling, parenting education and prevention programs in Lee, Hendry, Glades and Charlotte Counties.

The Merry Givemas toy drive will run from November 9 to December 9. Donations can be dropped off at the below locations. FPRA members have also volunteered to offer pickups of large donations upon request, just email us at pr@fpraswfl.org to arrange pickup. You can also ship packages if you’d prefer to get your give on with some online shopping.
