In an effort to support the professional development of students studying to enter the public relations profession, the Florida Public Relations Education Foundation (FPREF) awards student scholarships each spring.
This year, FPRA awarded the prestigious Dr. B
ob Davis, APR, CPRC, Scholarship to Breanna Rigg of the FGCU Student Chapter. This is the second year in a row a member of the FGCU chapter has won this award! Breanna will receive $1,500 to put toward education-related expenses. As the scholarship winner she will receive a certificate of recognition for her achievement and will be honored during the Presidents’ Luncheon at the FPRA Annual Conference in August.
Breanna did not plan to attend conference this year and did not apply for a conference scholarship. Now, members of our FPRA chapter want to help get her there! We have started a campaign for donations from our leadership and members. The cost to send Breanna to conference is $375. We are asking anyone who wants to help send Breanna to conference to please donate here. Donation can be made by clicking the PayPal Donation link. The donation amount is determined by you. Even if it is a small contribution – every little bit helps!
