Joshua Lambert, President/founder of Project Open Books, Inc.

Josh is an experienced marketing professional with a dynamic background in tourism marketing and non-profit operations. By being adaptable and willing to undertake new experiences, he’s grown into a role of project and brand management with innovative and inclusive intentions. While employed full time, he has been working towards his Master of Business Administration and is on target to graduate in December. He is currently a social media specialist at the Greater Boston Convention and Visitors Bureau.  

Description: 

Project Open Books, Inc. (POB) aims to provide LGBTQ+ stories to people of all ages through barrier-free access regardless of financial status or location. As President, Josh leads the Board of Directors through donor engagement, social media and website efforts, coordinates fundraising activities, and manages book orders. Josh plans to discuss PR Tactics he has utilized for POB, in addition to highlighting the importance of equitable LGBTQ+ representation. Attendees will walk away with the tools they will need to intentionally and equitably reach the LGBTQ+ community, in addition to a deeper understanding of the importance of representation in media.
