Comms for a Cause

Comms for a Cause is a special initiative led by the Southwest Florida Chapter of Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA), created to provide strategic communications support to nonprofit organizations that do not have the resources for dedicated marketing or public relations services.

Through this program, selected nonprofits are paired with experienced PR professionals for a structured, one-time strategy consultation focused on real-world communications challenges. These sessions are designed to deliver practical guidance, fresh perspective, and actionable next steps nonprofits can put to use immediately.

In partnership with United Way of Lee, Hendry, and Glades, Comms for a Cause brings together local communications talent and mission-driven organizations to strengthen storytelling, outreach, and community impact across Southwest Florida.

Volunteers will work directly with a nonprofit organization during a guided consultation, offering insight, recommendations, and practical support tailored to the organization’s goals and needs.
