For more than 86 years, FPRA has united professionals across public relations, marketing, advertising, and communications. The PR & Comms Summit is designed to keep you ahead of industry trends while sharpening the skills essential for success in today’s dynamic landscape.
This premier event features insightful sessions led by top experts from global corporations, leading industries, and renowned PR, advertising, and marketing firms. Attendees also have the opportunity to connect and collaborate with peers from diverse sectors, including government, healthcare, technology, tourism, public utilities, law enforcement, finance, education, nonprofit organizations, and agencies.
The President’s Luncheon serves as the platform from which individual members and Chapters are honored for outstanding work and dedication to the profession. The Golden Image Awards Gala is a conference highlight, showcasing the best in public relations from around the state.
Apply for a 2025 Teri Hansen InsPiRe Scholarship to FPRA’s PR & Comms Summit
In honor of Teri Hansen, APR, a founding member of the Southwest Florida Chapter of FPRA, whose dedication, vision, and passion have shaped our chapter’s success over the past 40 years, the Southwest Florida Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association establishes The Teri Hansen “inSPiRe Scholarship.”
This scholarship celebrates Teri’s enduring legacy of professional excellence and her unwavering commitment to inspiring others. By supporting chapter members in their pursuit of growth through the PR & Communications Summit or Leadership FPRA, this award reflects Teri’s belief in the power of education, leadership, and service.
Professional member applications are due by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, May 9, 2025

Also, professional members who win a scholarship to the PR & Comms Summit must agree to present key takeaways from a conference keynote or breakout session of their choice at one of our chapter’s luncheons (day/time TBD).

This student registration option will include all general sessions and breakout sessions for all three days of the Summit, including food at all functions, the Golden Image Awards and President’s Welcome Reception.
What to Pack: Recommended Attire
With multiple events happening throughout the PR & Comms Summit, knowing what to wear can be tricky. From business casual to dressy attire and even black-tie optional, each occasion has its own dress code.
