July Monthly Luncheon & Annual Meeting – “NewsByMe”
Please join us on Tuesday, July 7th for our monthly luncheon and annual meeting. We will be electing our new officers for the 2015-2016 year at this meeting.
Our guest speaker for this meeting will be Pason Gadis. Pason is Co-Founder and CEO of Florida Media Group where he has recently developed an innovative crowdsourcing app NewsByMe that is working to transform the way we report and consume news. Pason contributes his experiences as a career news media executive to NewsByMe, a visionary “next step” from traditional news services with an interactive social media component. After managing and launching media brands for the Gannett Company, Pason and his partners successfully launched an and now lead one of the state’s fastest growing news magazines, Florida Weekly. Pason is widely respected in the media industry for his ability to take current go-to-market strategies and adapt them for today’s consumer. He is a graduate of Iowa State University and holds a BS in Business Administration.
** The meeting will be held at Florida South Western State College in Fort Myers. The meeting room is 177 in Building AA.
