Meet the Speakers:
Trish Robertson, APR, CPRC, MFCEP, CERA
Trish Robertson, a Florida native, has lived in Southwest Florida since 2005 and built a dynamic career in communications and public relations across private and public sectors. As the public relations officer for the Supervisor of Elections office, she oversees voter outreach, election worker training, and early voting/Election Day management while ensuring compliance with federal and state election laws.
A proud FGCU alumna, Robertson graduated cum laude with a degree in communication, specializing in public relations. She holds Accreditation in Public Relations (APR), is a Certified Public Relations Counselor, and has earned credentials as a Master Florida Certified Elections Professional (MFCEP) and Certified Elections/Registration Administrator (CERA). Active in her community, Robertson is a Leadership Collier graduate, a mentor with Take Stock in Children, and a passionate supporter of local nonprofits. She lives in Fort Myers with her husband, Jeremy, their two sons, and rescue pups.
Gaby Aguirre, APR
Gaby Aguirre holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Florida Gulf Coast University and has been a key member of the Lee County Supervisor of Elections Communications Department since 2019. She specializes in media relations, strategic communications, and outreach, playing a vital role in ensuring voters are informed and confident in the election process.
Known for her innovative approach and dedication to public relations, Gaby has helped position the agency as a trusted source of election information. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and her dog, Bella.
