Public Relations University is the Southwest Florida chapter’s annual professional development day, which brings state and national experts on public relations programs, planning and implementation. Members and non-members will leave this full-day seminar inspired to tackle new campaigns, enhance your programming and be the best PR professional you can be!

This event invites attendees to get up close and personal with local and regional media personalities. Our speakers provide an inside look at how to capture the media’s attention, target the right media for your message, create and keep relationships with members of the media, and navigate the ever-changing online, broadcast and print media platforms.
This December event for members and their guests is our opportunity to mix, mingle and celebrate another successful year of PR in Southwest Florida! Attendees enjoy local food and drink, entertainment and a chance to win big in our raffle and silent auctions.
Local Image Awards
Held each April, this evening event is the culmination of our Local Image Awards season and honors that year’s best PR campaigns and tools. We also recognize the members who have contributed the most to our profession and to the Southwest Florida chapter through our annual Chapter Awards.
