The Southwest Florida Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association is proud to present the 2025 Pam Nulman Soaring Eagle PR Award to Tommy Gies, a standout leader in the FGCU FPRA Student Chapter.
Named in honor of retired PR professional and dedicated FGCU instructor Pam Nulman, APR, CPRC, this award recognizes an exceptional student whose leadership, passion, and dedication to the public relations profession soar above the rest. It is not awarded annually — it’s reserved for those who truly embody the spirit of the profession.
Tommy is a senior majoring in communication with a concentration in PR, and his accomplishments speak for themselves:
- Gameday Communications Assistant for the Miami Dolphins (2 seasons)
- Social Media Student Assistant at FGCU
- Three-year member of FGCU FPRA – and a two-year chapter president (a first, as far as we can tell!)
Tommy has grown the student chapter into a community of engaged future PR pros and has helped connect students to professionals across our industry.
