Meet the Speakers

  • Evan Nierman is the founder and CEO of Red Banyan, which provides strategic communications counsel, crisis management and training to senior business leaders, government officials and private individuals. Evan and his team advise and represent corporations and non-profit organizations across a wide range of industries, often guiding them through high-stakes, complex situations and conceptualizing and executing effective communications campaigns. He is a regular contributor to various top publications including Entrepreneur, Fast Company and Forbes, and author of two bestselling books Crisis Averted: PR Strategies to Protect Your Reputation and the Bottom Line, and The Cancel Culture Curse.

 

  • Brett Brisbe is the founder and owner of B2 technology Solutions. Brett has 20+ years of experience in the IT industry helping businesses optimize their technology for maximum performance. He’s passionate about finding the right solutions to drive efficiency and growth. Outside of work, he enjoys downtime with his family.

 

 

  • Michael J. Corso is a highly regarded Florida Bar Board Certified attorney at Henderson Franklin with certifications in Civil Trial Law (since 1983) and Business Litigation (since 1988). He also holds Board Certification in Civil Trial Law from the National Board of Trial Advocacy (since 1985). These longstanding certifications demonstrate his deep commitment to excellence and leadership in the legal field.

 

 

  • Dr. Chrissann R. Ruehle is a Management Instructor in the Management Department at Lutgert College of Business at FGCU. Prior to her appointment at FGCU in 2017, she taught for seven years at Sinclair College and the University of Dayton in Ohio. Dr. Ruehle completed the IBM Artificial Intelligence Practitioner-Instructor Certification through the IBM Skills Build. Facilitated  FGCU’s first Artificial Intelligence certification course during the Fall 2021. Her doctoral dissertation titled, “Understanding the Complex Ethical Landscape of Artificial Intelligence Adoptions” explores forces shaping the Artificial Intelligence(AI) Industry. Her AI Industry Analysis was published in the Muma Business Review. Her AI case study was presented at the North American Case Research Association’s Annual Meeting and awarded “Best Student Authored Case Study”. Her research focuses on the interactions between humans and AI, governance practices for AI adoption, and Ethical Leadership approaches for managing AI.

 

  • Harrison Ambs is Chief Strategy Officer at Vector Digital. Ambs began his career at a Cleveland TV station — with no college degree — where he worked in graphic design. He relocated to Southwest Florida in 2011 and joined Stickboy Creative, a Vectra sister company, initially as creative director. In 2016, working with Vectra and Stickboy co-Founder Matt Bernhardt, Ambs led the way on using artificial intelligence to build better and more effective digital marketing campaigns for clients. The company does that through its AI tool Ambs helped create, Ada. Clients using Ada include national retail chains and franchise operations.

 

 

  • Brian West is Community Relations Manager at Publix. He is a third-generation citizen and life-long resident, of Plant City, FL. West is a graduate of Plant City High School and Florida Southern College, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in human resource management, with a minor in finance. Brian began his career with Publix Super Markets in 1991, working in the Deli Kitchen in their deli manufacturing facility. After serving in several different roles in both production and support, he was promoted to the HR department, where he spent almost 10 years as an associate relations specialist. He is currently the media and community relations manager covering 17 counties in Central and Southwest Florida.

Refunds
