The Southwest Florida Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) is pleased to announce Keith Grossman will be a presenter at the 22nd annual PR University seminar to be held Friday, Oct. 10 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Fort Myers Airport located at 9931 Interstate Commerce Drive in Fort Myers.

Prepared to speak on conflict management, Grossman is an attorney, a family and circuit civil mediator certified by the Supreme Court of Florida, an arbitrator qualified by the Florida Supreme Court, a trainer, facilitator and conflict management coach working with individuals and businesses, helping them manage conflict more comfortably. His goal is to offer solutions to conflict at an early stage so that his clients stay out of court, save money and preserve relationships. Grossman’s services center around communication skills, conflict management skills and consensus building. He has frequently lectured and facilitated training programs and written articles on conflict management topics. He also is the writer of the conflict management blog ResolvingConflictsNow.com.

Grossman received his Juris Doctor and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Florida. He is a past president of the Lee County Bar Association, as well as a member of the Collier County Bar Association, Collaborative Professionals of Southwest Florida, International Association of Facilitators, American Society for Training and Development, and Society for Human Resource Management.

“During our daily lives, we all can encounter conflict with co-workers, clients and or vendors,” said Angeli Chin, PRU event co-chair. “Having the right tools and preparation is key to a successful PR professional”.

Open to the public, the award-winning PR University seminar was developed for local association members and public relations professionals to obtain valuable information about public relations and marketing while learning more about current trends in the field from expert leaders. This year’s theme, “Climbing the PR Ladder,” focuses on developing and enhancing skills in public relations and marketing, as guest speakers offer their expertise in strategic planning, social media and engagement, conflict management, diversity, focus and motivation, and more.

Intech Printing and Holiday Inn at Airport has signed on as this year’s presenting sponsor for the event.  Other sponsorship opportunities are still available from $250 to $1,000. Student sponsorships will also be available for $35 each for those interested in sponsoring a student to partake in the full-day seminar. For more information or to become a sponsor, contact co-chairs Angeli Chin at 239-313-3995 or angeli.chin@me.com, or Kylee Pitts at 239-293-1110 or kyleeap@gmail.com.

The seminar’s registration check-in and a continental breakfast will begin at 7:30 a.m. followed by each speaker’s 45-minute presentation and a networking opportunity starting at 8 am. Lunch and refreshments will also be served.
