The Southwest Florida Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) will welcome James Ritter, founder and chief executive officer of Pulse Business Solutions, as its speaker for the May lunch meeting on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza Hotel at the Bell Tower Shops in Fort Myers. Ritter will present “It’s Cloudy with a Chance of…Freedom to Work Anywhere on Any Device,” addressing cloud computing. Ritter will discuss what cloud computing means for public relations and marketing professionals, how it works in the public relations field and why it is here to stay.

Ritter is an information technology expert and owner of Pulse Business Solution in Fort Myers, Fla. Founded more than seven years ago, his company provides information technology support to small, mid-market and enterprise companies through effective technology solutions including: managed IT services, IT project management and delivery, IT consulting and cloud computing solutions. Ritter was named one of the top 40 under 40 young professionals in Southwest Florida by Gulfshore Business magazine in recognition of his technology expertise and dedication to philanthropy. Pulse Business Solutions was recognized in Nine Lives Media’s seventh annual MSPmentor 501 Global Edition, a report identifying the world’s top 501 managed service providers (MSPs).
